The Power of Believing In Yourself

The Power of Believing In Yourself:

The power of believing in yourself is absolute, hands down, the most incredible power you possess. With unshakable faith in yourself, you will not quit when the tough times come knocking at your door – and they will come.

Nobody is going to believe in you until you are on top of the world. Then, and only then, will your friends and family, the people closest to you and everyone else say, “I knew you could do it.” Those words won’t be coming anytime soon. You will need to travel through the valleys and the darkness alone before you get to that promised land.

You can get there if you think you can. Knowing this is the path you must take and knowing this is the path all successful people have taken, is important. It will help keep you strong in the times of your despair (when nothing is going your way).

Will it be easy? No. If it were easy, every single human being would be wildly successful and living the life of their dreams. It isn’t easy. That’s why the majority of people don’t do it. Most people don’t believe in themselves – it’s true!

Nobody Believes In Me

You’re RIGHT. They don’t. Your friends and family see you “no different than they are,” and they don’t think there is anything special about themselves, so why would they think anything is special about you? The best bet (if this were a betting situation) would be to bet against your success. Why? Because most people don’t succeed.

Does that mean that most people don’t work hard? No. It means that most people quit when things get tough and there is nobody there to support them. You MUST be the one to support yourself. You aren’t making anyone else’s dreams come true, but your own.

The Power of Believing In Yourself

The power of believing in yourself is serous. You probably think you believe in yourself, who doesn’t? Nobody starts out thinking that they are going to fail. We think we are winners. We know that we work harder than any other person on the planet. How could we fail? Only by quitting my friend, that’s how.
In the beginning, we always start strong. We work to the edge of burnout to make our dreams come true and they don’t come true (yet). We get discouraged. We quit. This is called failure.

How do we ensure we don’t fail or give up? Believing in yourself is just one little piece of the puzzle. You also need to be sure that whatever you are doing, you enjoy it! If you enjoy your new entrepreneurial direction, it will certainly help in the moments where the belief you have in yourself may falter. If what you are doing is something you are passionate about, believing in yourself can take a back seat. This can help push you through the times when life tells you, “It ain’t gonna happen, no matter what you do.”

Do You Believe It’s Possible

Believing that whatever you have your heart set on is possible is the cornerstone to greatness, your success. If you believe whatever it is you are attempting to accomplish is possible, just ask yourself this question, “If it’s possible, and I know it is then why can’t I be the one that does it?

The answer is, “You can be.” Just keep that close to you. Don’t let anyone in your life or anywhere near you that would attempt to have you believe anything other than this. If you have someone near you, in your life, that makes you question your abilities – they need to go. It’s going to be hard at times for you to push through the self-doubt that will attack you when you have setbacks or things don’t go your way, you certainly don’t need anybody’s help with that.

Have Faith In Yourself

You are:

  • Smart
  • Creative
  • Successful already
  • Resourceful
  • Determined
  • A champion
  • A fighter
  • Nothing even close to a quitter
  • Bring it, baby,

Having faith in yourself is exactly what your inner voice doesn’t what you to do. Why? Because it wants to keep you safe. Your inner voice doesn’t want you to take a chance and get hurt. There is a battle going on in your mind. Forget the outside world. Forget what others are saying about how unlikely it is that you will succeed. The battle in your head must be won. Your greatness depends on it. Your success depends on it.

How do we win the battle in our and come out believing in ourselves like we never have before? Here is an incredible weapon: Meditation.

How to Win the Battle In Your Mind and Believe In Yourself

Mediation is the key to quieting that monkey in your head that is telling you “you can’t do that.” For centuries, our brains have evolved, but in some areas – not that much. Our brain’s job is to keep us safe. The problem with this is, being safe doesn’t lead to greatness.

Meditation is the practice of calming your inner voice. It is the best way to shut off your inner voice telling you what you can and can’t do. It is necessary to turn off that voice in your head if you intend to believe that your wildest dreams are possible. The battle in your mind must be won. You don’t need to be doubting that “whatever you are attempting” is possible. It is possible, you know its possible and you need to know that you are the one that can make it happen.

Believe In Yourself Quotes

  • “The only person who can pull me down is myself, and I’m not going to let myself pull me down anymore.”
  • “If you don’t give up on something you truly believe in, you will find away.”
  • “You may be the only person left who believes in you, but it’s enough. It takes just one star to pierce a universe of darkness. Never give up.”
  • “Believe in yourself, your abilities and your potential. Never let self-doubt hold you captive. You are worthy of all that you dream of and hope for.”
  • “Role models are only of limited use. For no-one is as important, potentially powerful and as key in your life and world as you.”

Increasing your potential by Believing In Yourself

If you don’t think that you can “pull something off,” how hard are you likely to try? What kind of results do you think you will end up if you don’t try very hard? When you don’t get any results, you will probably say to yourself, “See, I knew that wasn’t going to work.” Well, you were right, weren’t you?

On the contrary, if you believe with all your heart that what you are about to do is going to work and there is absolutely no doubt in your mind that you can’t fail, how much effort would you put into it? What kind of results do you think you’d achieve if you put that much effort into it? When you get those results, you will probably say to yourself, “See, I knew that would work.”

The truth is this, if you believe in yourself, you are more likely to take action. The more you believe in yourself, the bigger the action you will take. The bigger the action you take, the greater your results will be.

This is a simple concept yet it demonstrates the power of believing in yourself.

If you are struggling with doubts and fears, if you are struggling with believing in yourself, it’s normal. We all do it. You must win the battle and you can…if you believe you can.

It’s so easy to lose sight of how wonderful we truly are. When I find myself thinking negatively or losing faith in my abilities I remind myself of all the things I am good at and all the people that love me. It helps.

I find it easier when you have supporting friends and family. When everyone in your life is bringing you down it’s really not helping. But if just one person also believes in you, then it means the world and it truly help emerge and start believing in yourself, your ideas and your true potential.

Daily meditation is indeed key to quieting that loud monkey in our brain. Even 5 or 10 minutes can be enough to give as a boost of confidence that can last for a few hours or even a whole day. I also find that Incantations (as Tony Robbins calls them) are very useful. These are a mix of saying powerful affirmations and putting emotion behind them.
